“We recently had our wedding at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center and couldn't be happier with our decision. This place is a true gem. Rebecca and her team were on-the-ball from start to finish. We had a risk of rain on our big day, and the staff was ready to pivot - even though we didn't end up needing to! It's a truly unique and beautiful place to have your wedding. And you'll be supporting an invaluable community resource too!”

“Amazing place to spend an hour or two! We stopped on our way from chicago to eau claire for a break. Kids had a blast and we went for a hike and did a scavenger hunt! Free to visit and staff was friendly and helpful. Great for families!”

“This is a wonderful nature center with beautiful hiking trails that wind through restored prairie and wetland habitats. It's a peaceful place to explore and a great destination for families and nature lovers alike. The center offers a preschool nature program along with many free or affordable educational activities for children on weekends and throughout the summer. We attended a guided walk focused on insects, and it was both fun and informative. The prairie was especially beautiful, with colorful wildflowers in full bloom, making the experience even more enjoyable. The learning center is also well done, featuring interactive exhibits and educational displays about Aldo Leopold's life, conservation work, and lasting impact on environmental stewardship. Overall, it's a fantastic place to learn, explore, and spend time outdoors. Highly recommended!”

“We had our wedding at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in May and it was the perfect venue! The staff was very helpful, knowledgable, and helped to make everything possible. When we looked at venues, we knew we wanted to pick a place where our money would support a local non-profit. ALNC was a perfect fit and we would recommend this to anyone looking for a venue.”

“My husband and I held our wedding at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC) in May and everything about the space was perfect. Rebecca and her team are kind, organized, responsive, and patient, all the qualities you are looking for in a venue coordinator. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and having the reception space so close by was so easy for our guests who mostly came in from out of town. We loved that the money we paid went directly back to their programming. If you are looking for a beautiful space to get married while also supporting a great cause, we highly recommend ALNC!”
